So the first story of my KP saga is done. If you want to go check it out, my author page over on FF.net is www.fanfiction.net/u/1963342/, where I'm known by the same handle of AmericanGecko. So far the thing is over 7.5k hits , something I never expected in a million years, and it keeps on growing.
Now I'm starting my second book in the series, dealing with Kim and Ron's freshman year in college. And actually, this is the reason for this journal. I'm trying to come up with a clever title for a story about your first year in college, but so far I'm coming up with...nada, zilch, zero. So, if you have a suggestion, put a review here. I'll be sure to credit you if I pick yours!
-----------------------------
On a different note, I'm going to be able to stay in Colorado! For those that didn't know, I lost my job due to layoffs at the end of April, and for a little bit it looked like I might have to move back to Arkansas, something I really didn't want to do. But now I have a new job here in Colorado, so I get to stay where I want. So that's good. It also means I don't have to move back into my parents' house, something I really didn't want to do.
As for beyond that, who knows what it will mean.
-----------------------------
On a further side note, I was about to start loading up some of my visual art pieces as well. I have quite a few Kim Possible pics I was about to upload, but with the problems a few of my idols on this site have been having in that department, now I'm not so sure. I'd hate to get banned over the first actual piece of art I submit to this place, but at the same time I want to get feedback on my stuff from my fellow illustrators. I also want to start growing as an artist , and I feel that I've gone just about as far as I can without getting some outside input. What to do, what to do...

Those Words Are My Age!!
So this is interesting. Apparently if you go to https://www.merriam-webster.com/time-traveler/ and put in your birth year, you can find out what words were printed for their first time during that year. I know I’m dating myself here, but it was fun to see. :) Also, I suspect some of these may have been first used for a new meaning that year. COVID = Increased Availibility
For those interested, there’s a TL;DR at the bottom of this gigantic thing. So, COVID, amiright? Anyways, as I’m sure is the case with most of the world, Florida has been put under a “self-isolation quarantine”, and we’re having to practice the now infamous social distancing when we go out. Before that took place, my and my wife’s employer (a very famous Mouse) told us they were closing for the foreseeable future until the sitch with COVID-19 improves (unfortunately, neither of our jobs can be done remotely, but we still have them, thankfully—we’re actually still being paid through the 18th of this month, and will be furloughed after that until the Mouse deems it safe to reopen). As a result, the wife and I have been staying home almost constantly lately. If it weren’t for FaceTime and Zoom, we’d probably be going out of our minds with the lack of social interaction. BUUUUT......On the bright side, that means I have a lot more free time to work on the creative projects that I’ve had
Still Around...And where to find me.
So, as the title states, I'm still around. My personal computer is still pretty much a useless paperweight, and I'm still having to do all of my online stuff on either my phone or on my wife's laptop. We're still having financial trouble, unfortunately, but hopefully that'll clear up when our living arrangements change in early August. But we'll have to wait and see.
Now, about the second half of the title. I've been busy setting up a few things lately, though they don't have much on them at the moment. In no particular order, you can find me on the following sites, though I warn you some of these have adult/NSFW content on them or are
Just an Update
So, I’m still around. Things have been, shall we say, frustrating over at the Gecko’s Rock. The move went well (for those that don’t know, I’m now living in Florida, and have been for a few months now), and things seemed to be settling down. But then I had to go and do something stupid (like falling asleep at work according to the report, which I disputed but lost), and lost my job. Since then, we’ve been working on getting things back on track. My fiance has her job finally in place (things were touch-and-go for a month or two, but that’s finally settled ^_^ ), and my new job is…not satisfying,

Why would you get banned for uploading your art? As long as it's not obscene (no explicit sexings or killings) you should be fine.
